Overview
Yuncheng Teachers College was a teacher-training institution in Yuncheng, Shanxi Province, China, tracing its origin to the Yuncheng Teachers’ Class of Shanxi Normal College, founded in 1978. In 1989, Yuncheng Teachers College merged with Yuncheng Regional Education College and Hedong University (Preparatory) to form Yuncheng College, which was upgraded and renamed Yuncheng University by the Ministry of Education in 2002.
