Corrections and Updates

We aim to correct substantiated errors regardless of who identifies them. An institution cannot pay to remove accurate material information, and a user submission is not treated as evidence until it is verified.

What can be corrected

  • an institution’s name, address, type or status;
  • official website and contact details;
  • fees, dates, requirements and program information;
  • an incorrect language assignment or translation;
  • a broken link, technical issue or incorrect image;
  • a factual error in editorial content.

What to include

  1. the exact ED-ES page URL;
  2. the quotation or field containing the error;
  3. the proposed correct value;
  4. an official source link or document;
  5. where relevant, the effective date of the change.

How requests are reviewed

The editorial team checks the source, compares other available information and determines whether the issue is factual, editorial or disputed. Outcomes may include a correction, added context, removal of an unverified value or retention of the current information.

Material updates

When an error materially changed the meaning, we may add an update note. Minor spelling and formatting changes are not normally listed separately in the page history.

Submit a request: email contacts@ed-es.review with “Correction” in the subject or use the contact form.
