Editorial Policy

Our editorial policy is designed to ensure the directory and supporting content help people make informed decisions rather than merely attract search traffic.

Accuracy and verifiability

Factual claims should be supported by an available source. We prefer primary documents, disclose limitations and do not turn an unknown value into a guess. Dynamic facts such as fees, deadlines, rules and programs are accompanied by a reminder to verify them again.

Originality and usefulness

We do not consider simple translation, sentence rearrangement or compilation of third-party descriptions to be sufficient editorial value. An indexable page should provide a clear structure, context, comparable details or practical explanation.

Automation and AI

Automated tools may assist with data cleaning, discrepancy detection, structure, translation and drafting. They do not replace a source or remove the need for review. Publishing automatically generated material at scale without added user value is inconsistent with this policy.

Independence and commercial material

Payment should not influence factual assessment. Advertising, affiliate links and sponsored material are clearly identified. A commercial relationship does not permit material limitations to be hidden or an unverified quality label to be awarded.

Conflicts of interest

An author or editor should not conceal a material personal or commercial interest. A relevant conflict is disclosed in the material or the assignment is transferred to another editor.

Corrections

We correct substantiated factual errors and identify material updates when they substantially change the meaning. Unsupported criticism is treated as a signal to investigate, not an automatic reason to alter a record.

Prohibited practices

  • invented authors, quotations, qualifications or research results;
  • undisclosed advertising and misleading rankings;
  • plagiarism or publishing material without rights;
  • discriminatory or degrading language;
  • concealing a known material error.
