Yemeni University is a private university based in Sana’a, Yemen. Yemen’s Ministry of Higher Education and academic accreditation council list الجامعة اليمنية (Yemeni University) as an active private university in Sana’a; the institution dates its origins to 1993.
Current status and profile
The old English label “Yemenia University” is best matched to the current Yemeni University, not to Yemeni Jordanian University. Historical sources describe separate predecessor colleges in 1993 followed by their consolidation into the university; current programs and admissions should be checked on yuniv.edu.ye.
