Overview
West Tennessee Business College (WTBC) is a private business college in Jackson, Tennessee, USA. Its roots trace to 1888, when the Jackson School of Business opened to meet demand for qualified office workers in West Tennessee. A separately organized West Tennessee Business College opened in 1923; the two merged in 1929 under the West Tennessee Business College name, chosen because many students came from towns beyond Jackson and Madison County.
The college relocated several times, including to the Elks Building in 1928 and to East Main Street in 1958.
