Overview
Uganda Institute of Information and Communications Technology is a public tertiary ICT training institute based in Nakawa, Kampala, Uganda. UICT was founded by the Uganda Communications Commission in 2000, building on earlier telecommunications-training structures.

It is a specialist tertiary institute rather than a comprehensive university. Current programs and qualifications should be checked directly with UICT.
