Overview
Tianmen College (Tianmen Vocational College) is a public, full-time higher education institution in Tianmen City, Hubei Province, China, approved by the Hubei Provincial People’s Government. It was formed in 2010 through the merger and upgrading of two predecessor schools: Hubei Tianmen Health School (founded 1958) and the Tianmen Branch of Hubei Light Industry Technical School (founded 1986). The Tianmen Vocational and Technical Education Center was further incorporated in 2012.
In 2016 the Hubei Provincial Department of Education changed the college’s organizer to the Tianmen Municipal People’s Government, converting it from a private to a public institution.
