Overview
Saint Petersburg Law Academy is a private, non-state institution of higher education in Saint Petersburg, Russia, founded on 7 July 1997 by Stanislav Zybin, then head of the Saint Petersburg Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a former judge of the Charter Court, and a doctor of both law and history. It was one of the first non-state universities in Russia.
The academy is organized as an autonomous non-profit organization of higher education, based on Obukhovskoy Oborony Avenue in Saint Petersburg. Since 2013 its rector has been Olga Zybina.
