Overview
Saint Francis Faculty of Education (Faculdade de Educação São Francisco, FAESF) is a private higher education institution in Pedreiras, Maranhão, Brazil, maintained by Colégio São Francisco. The idea for the faculty was conceived in 1990 by Professor Aldenôra Veloso Medeiros, aiming to give Pedreiras and its region access to higher education; its activities formally began in 2000 with the implementation of a Pedagogy program.
