Miyakonojo College is part of Japan’s National Institute of Technology (KOSEN) system and teaches mechanical, electrical and computer, chemical and architectural engineering.
The college was established on 27 March 1964; the older English wording Miyakonojo National College of Technology has been superseded by the NIT/KOSEN institutional branding.
