LSU AgCenter is an LSU System campus devoted to agricultural research, extension and teaching, with statewide parish offices and research stations.
The Center for Agricultural Sciences and Rural Development was established in August 1972 and later became the LSU Agricultural Center; it is not a conventional stand-alone university admissions unit.
