Overview
Laurel University was a Christian higher education institution in High Point, North Carolina, USA. It traced its origin to 1903, operating under a succession of names — Greensboro Bible and Training School, Greensboro Bible and Literary Institute, People’s Bible School, and John Wesley College — before being renamed Laurel University in 2011.
In June 2016 it reverted to the name John Wesley University, and in 2018 it merged into Piedmont International University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
