Overview
Kunming Art College (Kunming Professional College of Arts) is located in Kunming, Yunnan Province, China. It was formerly the Nie’er Conservatory of Music, founded in 1986; in 2001 it was approved by the Yunnan Provincial People’s Government and registered with the Ministry of Education as an art college.
The college now comprises the Nie’er Conservatory of Music, Academy of Performing Arts, School of Communication, School of Design, School of Humanities and School of Aviation Tourism, offering more than 20 majors, along with research institutes for intangible cultural heritage, folk music, and public relations/public opinion.
