Overview
Jiangsu Police Institute is a provincial public police undergraduate institution based in Nanjing, Jiangsu, China. Its predecessor was founded in 1949 as Nanjing Public Security School; it became an undergraduate institution in 2002.
Current status and profile
JSPI trains public-security personnel and now also has graduate-degree authorization. It should be treated as a specialist police higher-education institution, not as a comprehensive university.
