Overview
The Islamic Sciences and Culture Academy (ISCA) is a scientific and research academy affiliated with the Islamic Propagation Office of Qom Seminary, located in Qom, Iran. It began activity in 1984 under the name Islamic Studies and Research Center, was reorganized in 2001, and received an official license from Iran’s Ministry of Science, Research and Technology in 2005.
Alongside Baqir al-Olum University, the Academy forms the research and education wing of the Islamic Propagation Office. It comprises four research centers covering Islamic and human sciences, religious faith, ethics and family, and the political and social system of Islam.
