Overview
Interdisciplinary Centre for Research and Teaching in Technical Education (Centro Interdisciplinario de Investigación y Docencia en Educación Técnica, CIIDET) is a public Mexican institution operating at the postgraduate and research level. It was created following a decree published in Mexico’s Diario Oficial de la Federación on November 24, 1976, and has been based in the historic center of Querétaro since September 1983.
Role and programs
CIIDET is one of the institutions that make up the Tecnológico Nacional de México (TecNM) system. It trains and updates teaching, administrative and management staff across TecNM through specializations in areas such as basic-science pedagogy, educational research, institutional leadership and management, and information technologies for learning.
