Overview
Institute of Hellenic Culture corresponds to Instituto Cultural Helénico, founded on December 14, 1973, in Mexico City by Greek Orthodox bishop Pablo de Ballester to promote and produce Hellenic culture in Mexico, including classical Greek theater and scholarship in art, philosophy, sociology and history.
Programs and facilities
The institute’s complex, on Avenida Revolución, includes the Instituto Cultural Helénico, the Centro Cultural Helénico and the Teatro Helénico, with a Romanesque cloister and Gothic chapel among its facilities. It offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in Art and Art History, History of Mexico, Humanism, and Museology.
