Overview
Ibn Sina Private University is a private higher education institution in Kabul, Afghanistan. It is one of many private universities named after the medieval Persian polymath Ibn Sina (Avicenna) that were established in Afghanistan; it is a distinct institution from the older, state-run “Abu Ali Ibn Sina” medical university lineage (which became Kabul Medical University), and its exact founding year was not confirmed by available sources. Like most Afghan private universities, it most likely dates to the wave of private higher-education institutions established from the early-to-mid 2000s onward.
