Overview
Goldfields College (Goldfields TVET College) is a public Technical and Vocational Education and Training college in Welkom, Free State Province, South Africa, part of the Matjhabeng Local Municipality within the Lejweleputswa District. It was established in 2002 through the merger of the former Tosa Technical College and Welkom College, taking its name from the Free State goldfields region known for gold mining. (One source cites a 1958 origin for one of its predecessor institutions.)
The college serves five local municipalities — Matjhabeng, Tokologo, Masilonyana, Nala and Tswelopele — across two campuses.
