Overview
Faculdade Mater Dei is a private higher education institution in Pato Branco, Paraná, Brazil, described by the local municipal chamber as having contributed to education in the city for more than five decades. It has since achieved University Center status and is now known as Unimater (Centro Universitário Mater Dei).
It should not be confused with the separate Rede Mater Dei de Saúde hospital network (whose first unit opened in Belo Horizonte in 1980) or other unrelated Brazilian institutions sharing the “Mater Dei” name.
