Overview
Escuela de Logística is a military institution of higher education of the Colombian National Army, headquartered on Calle 79 Sur in the Bosa locality of Bogotá, Colombia. It was created as the Escuela de Apoyo de Servicios para el Combate by Disposition No. 013 of 21 December 1966, approved by Resolution No. 08311 of 30 December 1966, and activated on 2 January 1967. Reactivated in 1983 as the Batallón Escuela de Logística, it took its current name by Resolution No. 0019 of 1 October 1983.
The school professionalizes and specializes the logistics function within the Colombian Army, training logistics officers with a broad social, ethical and political grounding.
