Overview
Dahan Institute of Technology was a private university in Xincheng, Hualien County, Taiwan, founded in June 1977 as Dahan Junior College of Engineering and Business and renamed Dahan Institute of Technology on August 1, 1999.
Programs and closure
The institute offered undergraduate and graduate programs in electrical, mechanical and civil engineering, electronics, computer science, design and management, with enrollment peaking above 7,000 students. It closed in 2025 due to declining enrollment.
