Overview

Centro Universitário Módulo is a private higher education institution in Caraguatatuba, on the northern coast of São Paulo state, Brazil. It originated in 1987-1988 as the Faculdade de Educação de Caraguatatuba, authorized by Decree No. 95,489 of 14 December 1987 to offer a Pedagogy course, soon followed by a Languages course as the Faculdade de Educação e Letras. It was consolidated into Centro Universitário Módulo, gaining full university-center status, in 2005.

Since 2007 it has been part of the Cruzeiro do Sul educational group, one of the largest in Brazil.
