Overview

Central Technical Institute corresponds to the Escuela Tecnológica Instituto Técnico Central (ETITC), a public institution of higher education in Bogotá, Colombia, founded by the Brothers of La Salle on March 19, 1904, and formally created by decree in 1905.

Status and programs

Its main building is designated national and city cultural heritage. In 2006 the Ministry of National Education changed the institution’s academic character from Technical Professional Institution to Technological School, and it now operates under the Ministry of National Education offering technical and technological programs across multiple fields.
