Overview
California Christian College was a private Christian college in Fresno, California, USA, established in 1955 by 48 Free Will Baptist congregations to address a shortage of trained pastors in the western United States. It was originally founded as the California Bible Institute, holding its first classes at the First Free Will Baptist Church in Richmond, California, before relocating in 1965 to Fresno, where a permanent campus was later established.
During the 1966-67 academic year the institution was renamed California Christian College and began offering a four-year Bachelor of Arts program; it received accreditation from the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools in 1998. The college ceased operations on 31 December 2023.
