Overview
Berthier Institute of Philosophy (Instituto Superior de Filosofia Berthier, IFIBE) is a private higher-education institution in Passo Fundo, in the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul. It was created in 1981 to offer a free philosophy course.
Accreditation and programs
After meeting Brazil’s Ministry of Education evaluation requirements, IFIBE was accredited to offer undergraduate and graduate programs, including a recognized bachelor’s degree in Philosophy. The institute focuses on the epistemological, ethical and religious dimensions of philosophical thought.
