University of the Southern Caribbean ( USC ) – private nonprofit higher education institution in Trinidad and Tobago. USC began its activity in 1927. Thanks to its quite favourable location inside Port of Spain, students can enjoy an active city life with a rural serenity. Second best university in Trinidad and Tobago is University of the Southern Caribbean.
Admissions and study format
When considering an applicant the deciding factor is always his/hers academic performance. Throughout the admission period more than 80 percent of applicants successfully enroll to the university. Nevertheless, in USC the ratio may vary dramatically depending on the study program. Traditionally the academic year is divided into semesters like in many other universities of Trinidad and Tobago.
