Overview
The College of Wooster ( Wooster ) – private nonprofit higher education institution in United States. Wooster began its activity in 1866. Studying at The College of Wooster has the advantages of both urban and rural life, in no small part thanks to being inside Wooster.
Admissions and study format
For evaluation the university uses the applicant's academic performance and examination results. The chances of successful admission are very high as 60 percent of applicants get enrolled but that number may vary depending on the faculty. The academic year consists of two semesters. Despite this the students can apply for scholarships provided by the university.
Students and academic staff
The College of Wooster is on the smaller side, it teaches about 2000 students. Foreign citizens can also apply to the university. The students may participate in various student exchange programs.
Infrastructure
The students have access to the university’s library. Students can apply for a dormitory. It is a member of Council of Independent Colleges (CIC), as well as The Five Colleges of Ohio, Sport affiliations and memberships: National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).
