Strathmore University ( SU ) – private nonprofit higher education institution in Kenya. SU became active in 2002. It has an urban campus located in Nairobi.
Admissions and study format
To enroll the student must provide the information on previous academic performance and pass examinations. The process of admission is not complicated by student competition as there are only 2 applicants per seat. The academic year consists of two semesters. Not everyone can study full time, so Strathmore University offers such students a wide range of online programs.

Strathmore University can be classified as small with only 5000 students. Foreign applicants are not excluded from the admission process. The academic makeup of SU includes around 499 teachers.

The university has a functioning library. It is one of the members of Association of African Universities (AAU), and Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU).
