Overview
South Eastern University of Sri Lanka ( SEUSL ) – public higher education institution in Sri Lanka. SEUSLstarted accepting students in 1995. South Eastern University of Sri Lanka is a jewel of Ampara, where the university constructed its campus.
Admissions and study format
The main criterion of admission is the academic performance of the applicant. If the applicant matches the minimal criteria he/her will have no problem enrolling to the university. Academic year of the university consists of two semesters. SEUSL is one of the universities that offers online education.
Students and academic staff
2000 students attend South Eastern University of Sri Lanka which puts it in the group of small universities in the classification. About 199 teachers and professors are employed by SEUSL. The university offers its students and the academic staff to participate in the international exchange programs.
Infrastructure
The university has a functioning library. The university is a part of the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU).
