) – private nonprofit higher education institution in Taiwan. STU was established in 1997. It has an urban campus located in Kaohsiung. Shu-Te University has earned itself a position in the top 60 best educational institutions of Taiwan.

Application process and the cost of tuition.

The students must pass examinations in order to get admitted to the university. The chances of successful admission are very high as 70 percent of applicants get enrolled but that number may vary depending on the faculty. The academic year consists of two semesters. Studying bachelor’s at STU is relatively inexpensive – only 2,500 USD per year. Those who wish to get their master’s degree here should be ready to spend at least 2,500 USD per year. Even though the tuition fees are not that high, the students still can apply for scholarship. In addition to full time programs, the university also offers a wide range of online courses.
