Saint Thomas University ( STU ) – private nonprofit higher education institution in United States. STU became active in 1961.
Admissions and study format
In addition to the results of the examinations the applicant must submit a certificate of the previous academic performance. STU accepts the majority of applicants. There are about 90 seats available per 100 applicants. Like in many universities of United States the academic year consists of two semesters. Despite this the students can apply for scholarships provided by the university. The university offers online degree programs.
This format proved to be quite popular among the students.

5000 students attend Saint Thomas University which puts it in the group of small universities in the classification. Foreign citizens can submit their applications along with the local students.
Infrastructure
There is a library on the campus. Also the university provides accommodations in the form of dormitories. The university belongs to the number of groups and associations like the Council of Independent Colleges (CIC), as well as the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE) and Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities (ACCU), Sport affiliations and memberships: National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).
