Overview
Mehran University of Engineering and Technology Jamshoro ( MUET ) – public higher education institution in Pakistan. MUET began its work in the year 1963.
Admissions and study format
The admission board requires applicant’s academic performance certificate and examination results. It is worth mentioning that MUET is characterized by a mild competition among the students, there are only 3 applicants per seat. Like in many universities of Pakistan the academic year consists of two semesters.
Students and academic staff
Mehran University of Engineering and Technology Jamshoro is on the smaller side, it teaches about 4000 students. Foreign citizens can also apply to the university. The Approximate number of specialists teaching at MUET is 399. MUET has exchange agreements with many educational institutions.
Infrastructure
The students have access to the university’s library. It is one of the members of Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), and Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World (FUIW).
