) – public higher education institution in Azerbaijan. The history of GSU can be traced back to1938 . The university campus is of urban type and is located in the vicinity of Ganja. Ganja State University is in the top 10 universities of Azerbaijan.

Application process and the cost of tuition.

The enrollment is based on the exam results. GSU accepts the majority of applicants. There are about 90 seats available per 100 applicants. The academic year is divided into semesters like in many other educational institutions of Azerbaijan. Studying bachelor’s at GSU is relatively inexpensive – only 2,500 USD per year. In addition to low tuition fees the university provides the students with extra financial assistance in the form of scholarships. Ganja State University is medium in scale, teaching no more than 7 thousand students at a time. Foreign citizens can submit their applications along with the local students. Infrastructure of GSU.

The university has its own library. Also the university provides accommodations in the form of dormitories. It is worth noting that in addition to being a part of the European University Association (EUA), the university also has a membership in the European Business Assambly (EBA) and Caucasus Universities Assosication (CUA).
