Emporia State University ( ESU ) – public higher education institution in United States. ESU began its activity in 1863. In order to get the students away from distractions and temptations of cities Emporia State University constructed its campus outside Emporia where students can focus solely on their studies.

It is not that difficult to get accepted to the university as the competition is fairly mild – 90 seats per 100 applicants. Emporia State University chose to divide its academic year into semesters.
