Dakota State University ( DSU ) – public higher education institution in United States. The history of DSU can be traced back to1881 . The university has a rural type of campus, which means that it is outside of Madison.

Admissions and study format

In order to enroll to the university the applicant must provide the results of the examinations and the certificate of the academic performance. DSU accepts the majority of applicants. There are about 90 seats available per 100 applicants. The academic year is traditionally consists of two semesters. There is also an option to enroll in online programs, kindly provided by the university.

Dakota State University is a small educational institution, with approximately 5000 students. The university accepts applications from foreign students.

Infrastructure

The library is available to all of the students. The university also provides dormitories for those who need them. It is a part of the South Dakota Board of Regents, and also a member of American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU), Sport affiliations and memberships: National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).
