Barry University ( BU ) – private nonprofit higher education institution in United States. The history of BU can be traced back to1940 . It has an urban campus located in Miami.
Admissions and study format
For evaluation the university uses the applicant's academic performance and examination results. Throughout the admission period more than 60 percent of applicants successfully enroll to the university. Nevertheless, in BU the ratio may vary dramatically depending on the study program. Like in many universities of United States the academic year consists of two semesters.
Students and academic staff
Barry University is medium in scale, teaching no more than 9 thousand students at a time. Being a foreign citizen does not exclude you from the admission process. The teaching staff consists of more than 2000 specialists. Both students and the academic staff can participate in the university’s international exchange programs.

The library is available to all of the students. The university also provides dormitories for those who need them.
