Overview
American University in the Emirates ( AUE ) – private nonprofit higher education institution in United Arab Emirates. AUE began its history in 2007. The university campus is of urban type and is located in the vicinity of Dubai.
Admissions and study format
It is important to mention that the applicants are evaluated based on the previous academic performance. Throughout the admission period more than 60 percent of applicants successfully enroll to the university. Nevertheless, in AUE the ratio may vary dramatically depending on the study program. American University in the Emirates chose to divide its academic year into semesters. The university has a variety of scholarship programs that students can take part in.
