Utah Valley University ( UVU ) — public higher education institution in United States. UVU began its academic activity in1941. In order to get the students away from distractions and temptations of cities Utah Valley University constructed its campus outside Orem where students can focus solely on their studies.

Utah Valley University is classified as a large university with more than 34,000 concurrent students. Both citizens and foreigners are able to apply. The university has more than 3 thousand teachers. The university offers international student exchange programs, made possible by the vast network of partner educational institutions and companies. The library is available to all of the students. It is a part of the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU), and also a member of OpenCourseWare Consortium (OCW), Sport affiliations and memberships: National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).
