University of the Western Cape ( UWC ) — public higher education institution in South Africa. UWC was established in 1959. Thanks to its quite favourable location inside Cape Town, students can enjoy an active city life with a rural serenity.

Being a medium scale university, University of the Western Cape teaches more than 15 thousand students. Both citizens and foreigners are able to apply. 6% of all students are foreigners.
