University of the West Indies Mona Jamaica ( UWI ) — public higher education institution in Jamaica. UWI began its academic activity in1948. The main building of the university is located in Kingston inside an urban campus.

Being a medium scale university, University of the West Indies Mona Jamaica teaches more than 14 thousand students. Both citizens and foreigners are able to apply. At UWI the academic staff counts 299 various specialists. During studies the students have the opportunity to participate in the international exchange programs.
