University of Poitiers or Université de Poitiers ( UP ) — public higher education institution in France. UP began its activity in 1431. UP is located in a small town of Poitiers in France.

University of Poitiers is classified as a large university with more than 23,000 concurrent students. Foreign applicants are not excluded from the admission process. It is worth mentioning that every 9 student of the university came from abroad. More than 1000 teachers are employed by the university.
