University of Pau and the Adour Region ( UPPA ) — public higher education institution in France. The studies at University of Pau and the Adour Region began in 1972. Inside the city of Pau the university has built its own suburban campus.

University of Pau and the Adour Region is medium in scale, teaching no more than 15 thousand students at a time. Both citizens and foreigners are able to apply. The university employs 1400 teachers and professors.
