University of Bucharest ( UB ) — public higher education institution in Romania. UB began its activity in 1864. The main building of the university is located in Bucharest inside an urban campus.

University of Bucharest is among the largest universities that educates more then 31 thousand students. The university accepts both local and foreign students. The ratio of foreign students at UB is 2% of all students. The academic staff includes more than 1800 teachers and professors.
