Tehran University of Medical Sciences ( TUMS ) — public higher education institution in Iran. TUMS was founded in 1934. The university has an urban campus in Tehran.

Tehran University of Medical Sciences is medium in scale, teaching no more than 20 thousand students at a time. Foreign citizens can submit their applications along with the local students. To ensure that the quality of education stays high the university has an academic staff consisting of more than 1400 specialists. The university participates in a variety of international exchange programs between students and academic staff.
