Padang State University ( UNP ) — public higher education institution in Indonesia. UNP became active in 1997. The main building of the university proudly stands in Padang inside an urban campus.

Padang State University is considered to be a large university, teaching more than 34,000 students. Foreign citizens can submit their applications along with the local students. The education is provided by more than 1500 teachers and professors. UNP has exchange agreements with many educational institutions.
