Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta ( UMY ) — private nonprofit higher education institution in Indonesia. UMY opened its doors in 1981. Yogyakarta became the home of Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta.
The composition of the university.
Being a medium scale university, Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta teaches more than 14 thousand students. Both citizens and foreigners are able to apply. 399 specialists are employed by the university. The university provides its students with the opportunity to participate in the international exchange programs. Infrastructure of UMY.
The university has a dedicated library. The campus dormitories that can be offered to the students upon request. It is a part of the Association of Indonesian Private University (APTISI), and also a member of Association of Muhammadiyah Higher Educations.
