Ain Shams University or جامعة عين شمس ( ASU ) — public higher education institution in Egypt. ASU was officially founded in 1950. One of the attractions of the capital of Egypt is the main campus of ASU.
The composition of the university.
Ain Shams University is considered to be a large university, teaching more than 204,000 students. Being a foreign citizen does not exclude you from the admission process. The university has about 1% of foreign students. The academic staff of ASU includes more than 10 thousand teachers and professors.
Infrastructure of ASU.
The library is available to all of the students. On campus the students can use the sports facilities provided by the university. It is one of the members of Association of African Universities (AAU), and Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World (FUIW).
