Ahmad Dahlan University is medium in scale, teaching no more than 15 thousand students at a time. Both citizens and foreigners are able to apply. 499 specialists are employed by the university. The university provides its students with the opportunity to participate in the international exchange programs.

The library is available to all of the students. The university also provides dormitories for those who need them.
