DTU (Technical University of Denmark) was founded in 1829 by the father of electromagnetism, Hans Christian \u00d8rsted and was modeled along the lines of \u00c9cole Polytechnique in Paris, France. For almost two centuries DTU has been dedicated to fulfilling the vision of its founder \u2013 to develop and create value using the natural sciences and the technical sciences to benefit society.
